HIC

The Health Informatics Conference (HIC) is hosted every year by the Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA), a membership based not-for-profit organisation which has been supporting and representing Australia’s health informatics and e-health community for 20 years.

In 2010 and for the first time ever, HISA appointed a communications agency to generate media coverage for the event.  HIC had been running for more than a decade and was Australia’s largest e-health conference yet it had received little media attention in the past.

Espresso worked with HISA to profile its local and international speakers and increase media attendance to the event.  The campaign was a huge success resulting in coverage in the Australian Financial Review, The Australian IT, Computerworld, Medical Observer, Hospital and Aged Care and iTNews amongst others.
