Laura Fireman – Account Director
Posted by admin on Apr 14, 2011 in Our Team | 43 commentsWith over 15 years’ London agency experience working across an incredibly broad client and media spectrum, Laura is a highly creative PR and events professional who really brings campaigns alive. She began her career heading up the entertainment-based youth offering at highly-respected music PR agency, Coalition. Within her initial eight years there, she was the Senior Account Manager for HMV UK, Sony PlayStation, Virgin Interactive and GTi. She also headed up MTV UK’s digital channels launch, and created Smint’s (now legendary) annual Snowbombing events. Working alongside the music team on The Verve, Kings of Leon, The Charlatans and The Strokes, she also cut her teeth on event production and management … not to mention fragile egos!
After a brief dalliance in feathers and sequins living in Rio, Laura headed back to the UK to be snapped up by Coalition PR once more; this time, co-ordinating the annual Mercury Music Prize (MMP) awards ceremony, staging weekly instore live music sessions for HMV UK, and planning/executing The MOJO Awards.
Party and event organisation for M&C Saatchi, CHI and Lost Vagueness followed, before Laura landed at RDP – a specialist film and entertainment company. Here, she was Account Director for a host of clients: Momentum Pictures, Universal , Warners and Lionsgate, devising creative ideas to drive campaign impetus. Films and home entertainment releases worked on, include: Twin Peaks, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Ponyo, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, The September Issue, The Wizard of Oz 70th Anniversary, Where The Wild Things Are and The Young Victoria.
