Yesterday an act of near mutiny was orchestrated at Espresso Communications. A few of the Espresso Crew banded together in a dimly lit corner of the Internet to make plans. By those few it was decided that Espresso Communications was in need of a company twitter account.

Previously, Espresso Communications had had a voice through our MD’s account, which made complete sense when Espresso was a two piece band, but now, having more than quadrupled in size, we could fill out the entire woodwind section of a modern orchestra. The only problem with our proposal was that our section leader had the perfect twitter handle, @espressocomms, which we decided to wrest from her. We thought of alternatives; @espresso was taken, anything with numbers or awkwardly placed underscores just didn’t seem right.

Sure she put up a fight, but once we explained we could do it in a way that meant she could keep all her followers, and all the people she devoutly follows, she gave in. A quick switch-a-roo of usernames and if you previously followed Corrie at @espressocomms you now follow her at @espressocorrie and will get the same tweets, from a communications expert, successful entrepreneur and mother, that you’ve grown accustomed too.

At the new @espressocomms the espresso crew will be keeping you up to date on new content on our website, events and activities we are organising or involved in, and any shenanigans that are going on in the office during the rare moments we are not making PR magic.
